Job Description:
As a Border Patrol Agent with the U.S. Customs and Border
Protection (CBP), a pivotal component of the Department of Homeland
Security, you play a critical role in safeguarding the American
people and enhancing national security. Your duties will include
patrolling the borders, preventing illegal entry into the United
States, and ensuring that all goods and individuals crossing the
border comply with U.S. laws and regulations. This position
requires resilience, vigilance, and a profound dedication to
managing cross-border activities effectively and humanely. Detect
and prevent the illegal smuggling and entry of undocumented
individuals into the United States. Monitor and patrol borders on
foot, by vehicle, or by other means to guard against illegal
activity and dangerous goods entering the country. Conduct routine
checks and searches of vehicles and property entering the border to
ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Apprehend and process
individuals attempting unauthorized border crossings. Gather and
report intelligence to aid in creating effective strategies for
border security. Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to
coordinate efforts and enhance security measures. Maintain detailed
and accurate records of border incidents, detentions, and
apprehensions. Ability to make rapid decisions and assess
potentially dangerous situations effectively Physical fitness and

Proficiency with surveillance and monitoring equipment Ability to
