Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Coding Specialist to perform
complex duties in support of reimbursement from patients and
insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborates with internal staff and clinical departments regarding
filing, documentation, and reimbursement issues
Evaluates accounts, billing, payments, coding, and resolves denied
claims with carriers and patients
Identifies coding trends and makes recommendations to prevent or
correct coding errors
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
No licensure or certification required
Three (3) years of experience in a clerical, accounting, or
customer service setting
Six (6) months of experience working with CPT and ICD-10
