Job Description:
A company is looking for a Substation Designer to create design
drawing packages and documents for electric power substations.
Key Responsibilities
Complete drafting assignments on Protection & Control, SCADA, and
Communications drawings
Draft Physical Electrical drawings including General Arrangement,
Electrical Plans, and Structural Details
Support remote office overflow CAD workload as needed and
coordinate with other CAD leads
Required Qualifications
High School diploma with 1+ years (Level 2) or 2+ years (Level 3)
of relevant experience
Drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or
MicroStation
Knowledge of drafting standards, techniques, and procedures
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
products
Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided
markups
