Lexmark is looking for a mid-level, full-stack software engineer with a passion for Cloud development and a desire to deliver value on an award-winning Lexmark Cloud Platform, specifically in the Cloud Fleet Management domain. The candidate must be a self-starter, exhibit a willingness to participate and sometimes lead technical discussions to help solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Major ResponsibilitiesMember of an agile scrum development teamParticipate in planning, sizing, and requirements analysis sessionsDesign, develop, test, and maintain cloud solutionsAttend daily standups and actively participate in development activities such as peers review, demos, and supportWork with customers on pilot and/or troubleshooting activitiesEffectively collaborate with peersDeliver flexible, maintainable solutions to meet customers' changing business needsEstimate effort and complexity of work and breakdown large requests into smaller units or workResolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancementsSkills and AbilitiesThe following are highly preferred:Minimum 5 years of experience in software developmentMinimum 2 years of experience in cloud developmentDemonstrable experience withApplication containerization deployment strategiesJava Spring / Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, Postgres and REST / RPC calls over HTTPJenkins, Git and ArtifactoryFormal design patterns and industry best-practicesScripting languages (e.G., Groovy / Perl / Python / Ruby)Full-stack (i.E., front-end, back-end, database) development experienceFull lifecycle (i.E., design, development, test) development experienceA sophisticated understanding of software systems and applicationsAbility to effectively collaborate with peers and influence othersAbility to work independently and multi-task effectivelyExperience with web services and open API developmentKnowledge of modern front-end single page application frameworks like Angular, Ember, or React.Experience with the following are differentiators:KubernetesMicrosoft Azure platform technologies (e.G., IoT Hub and related concepts, Service Bus Queues, Blob Storage)Security (e.G., PKI, SSL / TLS, Fuzzing, etc.)Code coverage analysis / static analysis toolsTest Automation practicesScaled Agile Frameowkr (SAFe) programming processes and methodologiesJavaScript / TypeScript / AngularRobot / Sauce LabsHTML5 / BootstrapAzure Power AppsEducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (required)Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus* Relocation Assistance is eligible for this position, but will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
