JY Design Interiors is a residential interior design studio located in Leucadia, CA. We take on projects of varying sizes and scopes from new construction, remodels and furnishings/decor.We currently have a staff of 3 designers, and are looking to add to our team! Please reply with your resume, including references, and portfolio.--- Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM--- Full-time + benefits--- Pay based on experienceRequirements:--- College degree in Interior Design--- At least 18 years of age--- Minimum 2+ years of design experience with an interior design or design build firm ---- Reliable vehicle for use as needed--- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.--- Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup--- Prior experience in creating Construction Document Sets--- Knowledge of Lumion / Podium, a plus--- Knowledge of Trello, a plus--- Knowledge of Google Workspace--- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)--- Knowledge of vendors, a plus (furniture, wallpaper, textiles, lighting and decor)--- Basic understanding of the construction process--- Flexible and adaptive--- Process oriented--- Ability to multi task--- Organized--- Self sufficient and proactive--- Highly motivated team player--- Excellent oral and written communication skillsJob Description: ---- Work in conjunction with Lead Designer--- Attend client meetings and site visits--- Assist with site measures--- Assist with photoshoots and installations--- Prepare presentation materials and presentations ---- Prepare job books--- 3D renderings on Sketchup and Lumion--- Create, review and make corrections to AutoCAD produced construction document sets--- Space planning and concept development--- FF&E specifications -
