TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Fountain Valley, California, 92708! Job
Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 2 years of staff-level experience required. License: CA
License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have:
Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with EPIC charting
system required. Candidates must float within hospital based on
census. Description: ICU Registered Nurse position available.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. First-timers
are accepted. Floating to inpatient units such as Medical-Surgical,
Telemetry, Oncology, and Emergency Department is required. Weekend
shifts are required every other weekend. No on-call requirements.
Documentation system used is EPIC. Special procedures may be
performed in the unit. Interdisciplinary support is provided.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Daily patient
census ranges from 28 to 30. The unit has a total of 30 beds.
Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of management.
Candidates should be prepared to work during winter and summer
holidays. Candidates will be required to manage patients with
multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, dysrhythmias, and
post-operative care among other responsibilities. Essential skills
include managing ventilated patients, administering IV sedation,
and interpreting arterial blood gases. Healthcare staff will be
required to adhere to infection prevention practices. 5 Benefits of
