Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist 1 -
Full Time - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinically based health record reviews to ensure accurate
provider documentation
Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain high-quality
clinical documentation
Facilitate effective queries and education to improve documentation
accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a
related medical field
Current RN, MD, or RHIA certification required
At least two years of direct patient care in an acute care setting
or three years of inpatient coding experience
CCDS or CDIP certification preferred, to be obtained within three
years of hire
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology/software
required
