Our purpose is to empower the practice of exceptional dermatology.*Company Conformance Statements:*In the performance of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following:* Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.* Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.* Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.* Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.*Key Responsibilities:**Patient Care:** Assist providers with cosmetic dermatology procedures, such as Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and other aesthetic services.* Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure care, including patient preparation, cleaning treatment areas, and providing aftercare instructions.* Administer topical anesthetics or other pre-procedure preparations as directed by the provider.*Clinical Support:** Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and other relevant medical information.* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.* Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.* Prepare examination rooms and supplies for procedures.*Patient Education:** Educate patients on treatment options, post-procedure care, and general skin health.* Address patient concerns and provide clear communication regarding treatments and expected outcomes.*Administrative Duties:** Schedule follow-ups, manage patient files, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).* Assist in managing inventory of medical supplies and ensuring proper stock levels.* Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.*Education: ** High School Diploma or GED is required.* Active and unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse certification.*Qualifications:** Must have 1-2 years of experience working in a medical office.* 2+ yrs. of Dermatology/Cosmetic back office medical experience* Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory issues about group practice.* Committed to executing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.* Ability to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities.* Ability to foster strong relationships with team members and external clients* Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.* Strong administrative and time management skills.* Ability to handle multiple tasks.* Able to upsell with confidence.* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.* Tactful, mature, and able to get along with diverse personalities.* Able to exemplify professional behavior in all aspects of the position.* Able to function independently.* Work as a team and support other staff members.* Excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.* Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills* Excellent customer service skills* Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information* Computer literate with proficient Microsoft Office skills* Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a phone, fax, copier, printer, etc.* Knowledgeable in administering anesthesia, and works well in high-volume clinics.* Experience working hand and hand with MOH surgeons.* Surgical experience is a plus, knowledge of skin cancers and treatment options.* Great communication skills and multi-tasker.* Experience working with MOHs surgeon, numbing and prepping patients for surgery and MOHs layers/repairs.* Experience with autoclave instruments and administering anesthesia..* Experience working on electronic medical records.*Our competitive benefits package includes the following:** Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance* Short-term/Long-term disability* Life and other voluntary plans* 401(k) plan* Employee Referral Program* Paid Time-Off* Company-Paid Holidays*Equipment Operated:* Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.*Physical Requirements: *Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries.
