Join a winning team supporting the Speech Therapy Department at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas as a Speech Pathologist. Together with our knowledgeable and enthusiastic team you will see primarily in-patient cases in this busy coastal community. The ideal candidate is eager to stretch their skillset to provide excellent care to a diverse range of patients and will gain regular exposure to everything from brain injury patients to stroke patients and a wide variety of swallowing disorders as well. Collaborate with this engaged team to make a different in patients lives every day. The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in unit specific competency assessment tools, and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title. This is a Casual (Per-diem) position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.
