standardization.The Lead Clinical Lab Scientist will be a true
asset to the Hematology/Coag/UA Department at Scripps Memorial
Hospital Encinitas, working both on the bench and ensuring
regulations are enforced. To be successful, the Lead CLS must be
technically experienced, organized and able to communicate
effectively. The Lead CLS will have an extensive support system,
participating in the technical committee meetings with their
counterparts from the other sites and a management team that values
mentorship.-- -The Lead CLS will also serve as a resource in
training new hires. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys
working collaboratively in an environment that facilitates the
exchange of ideas and resources.-- -The Lead CLS assists the
Manager in the technical and personnel management of a designated
laboratory section. The Lead CLS is required to demonstrate
behaviors that proactively contribute to reaching team goals of
cost-effective, high quality patient care services through
leadership, technical expertise, and the appropriate utilization of
resources.This is a full time position with PM shifts
(1:30pm-10pm), including rotating weekends and holidays. Bench work
will be 3 days a week, with 2 days a week for administrative
work.-- -Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation
assistance to eligible new hires.-- -The following are not eligible

letter.Preferred:5 years experience in hematology/coag/UALeadership
experienceRequired:5 years experience-- -as a clinical lab
scientistBachelors degree in life sciences.California license as a
