The Laboratory Supervisor will be joining a knowledgeable team of skilled, dedicated and caring professionals at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, serving the growing communities of San Diego's coastal North County since 1978. To be successful, the Laboratory Supervisor will be a positive, motivated, change leader able to provide excellent customer service to our healthcare partners.. The Laboratory Supervisor will:. Oversee all personnel on their shift (Clinical Lab Scientists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Lab Assistants and Pathology Assistants) and Clinical Lab Scientists on night shift, approximately 30 team members.. Manage performance evaluations, provide direct one-on-one coaching and training for new hires. Lead process improvements. Serve as the lab liaison for physicians and nurses. This is a full time, salaried positions with evening shifts, generally 1:30pm-10pm, including any additional coverage as needed..
