Licensed Senior Care Manager, Mental/Behavioral Health - Encinitas, CA

This position is open to anyone in the USA that is a licensed mental health professional or has a Master's plus a PPSC credential (Pupil Personnel Services Credential)

Our client is the #1 care navigation and coordination service that services the K-12 Public Education System in the USA. They have the largest database of mental health resources, so they make it simple and easy for students and families to connect to community based mental health providers and get the right help/counseling in seconds.

The Senior Care Manager will carry both a small individual caseload of complex cases (approx. 20-30) while also supporting and advising the broader team. The position would be 75% direct service and 25% administrative.

Some Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination services to individuals or families seeking mental health or substance use disorder services, ranging from low to high severity, across the United States.
• Oversee case quality for all incoming requests for services.
• Complete assessment to determine the needs of the client.
• As an Internal Advisor, provide clinical insight and consult on all cases as needed.
• Conduct follow up with clients to determine if further assistance is needed.
• Work with dynamic team of care coordinators to assist on complex and high severity cases.
  
  Qualifications Education & Skills
  
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant field plus a PPSC credential (Pupil Personnel Services Credential) OR an a ctive license in CA: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, or LMHC without any disciplinary or board actions.
  • Three plus years of relevant experience (management experience preferred but not mandatory).
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Able to work in a virtual and/or fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, empathetic, respectful, positive attitude.
  • Assertive, confident, direct communicator, able to effectively delegate.
