ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available supporting school-aged
students in the Coachella Valley area. This contract position runs
full-time for the 2026-2027 school year and requires onsite
presence, as the client is currently prioritizing candidates able
to work in-person. There is a strong preference for bilingual
Spanish speakers to meet the diverse needs of the student
population. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language support
primarily to students with mild to moderate needs, with some
students requiring severe level assistance Work with Augmentative
and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices as part of therapy
plans Potentially serve in an itinerant role, traveling between
multiple school sites within the district Collaborate with licensed
Speech-Language Pathologists and school staff to implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate
documentation and reporting according to educational and
certification standards Qualifications: Current Certificate of
Clearance (COC) required Previous experience working in school
settings strongly preferred Ability to effectively communicate in
both English and Spanish is highly desired Familiarity with mild to
moderate speech and language disorders, including AAC device use
