Join our diverse family of faculty and staff and engage in work worth doing.We are looking for a Nursing Assistant Training Program Clinical Instructor to join our team. This will cover a 6 week cohort. First 3 weeks, 1 day a week (every Friday.) Week 4, 5, and 6 will be 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:
Teach skills- lab and clinical rotations at a variety of times and locations in responds to program needsEnsure students are practice ready and meeting all state regulations for certification prior to end of programMake continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teachingContinually seek out educational opportunities for students in the clinical setting that will enhance their learning experienceAssists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements.Regularly evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving curriculum and course objectivesProvide daily feedback to students in real time and post clinical conferencesProvide access to students for ongoing communication through scheduling office hour, electronic communication, and other appropriate methodsMaintain student records of attendance, grades, and assist with program data collection, and skills check lists as required by state regulationsParticipate in schedule meetings with theory instructor and program director regarding student progressMake continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teachingDemonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learningKeep current with new technologies and safety regulationsAssists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirementsParticipate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updateSubmit required program reports and forms to Program Director in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned by the Program Director

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure at least 2 years of nursing experience to include 1 year of caring for elderly/chronically ill or in a long-term care facility (verifiable)Experience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; successful handling of day-to-day operations in the nursing assistant skills lab; proficient, strong communications skills verbal and written; current knowledge/experience in clinical settingWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as neededCurrent state required immunizations and Basic Life Support CertificationSuccessful completion of State Board training (if required)For All Full Time Employees, We Offer :Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment2 Weeks starting Vacation per year.
