Radiochemistry Location: San Diego Background RayzeBio is a dynamic
biotechnology company headquartered in San Diego, CA. Launched in
late 2020 and recently acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as a
wholly owned subsidiary, the company is focused on improving
survival of people with cancer by harnessing the power of targeted
radioisotopes. RayzeBio will operate as a standalone entity within
the BMS organization, maintaining its biotech culture with the
opportunity to leverage the best-in-class oncology capabilities of
BMS. RayzeBio is developing innovative drugs against targets of
solid tumors. The lead asset, RYZ101, is in Phase 3 testing for
patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors
(GEP-NETs), as well as earlier stage testing for patients with
small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and breast cancer. Led by a

be the global leader in radiopharmaceuticals. Summary The Scientist
will be responsible for conducting research, experiments, and
analysis in the field of radiochemistry. This role involves
radiolabeling of diagnostic and therapeutic radioisotopes of
peptides, small molecules, and/or antibodies as well as quality
testing for in vitro and in vivo work. The Scientist will work in
laboratory settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to
advance scientific knowledge and contribute to the advancement of
all RayzeBio's internal programs. Job Responsibilities Essential
duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may
be assigned. --- Develop and optimize experimental procedures ad
methods, as well as conduct experiments to radiolabel peptides,
small molecules and/or antibodies using various isotopes including
but not limited to: Lu-177, Ac-225, Cu-64, Ga68 and Zr89 ---
Develop and execute methods for the characterization of
radiolabeled compounds, using techniques such as radio-HPLC and
radio-TLC chromatography to analyze purity and stability ---
Develop novel methods and conduct in vitro assays (e.g. plasma
stability and metabolite analysis) with radiolabeled compounds ---
Prepare compounds for cell-binding assays and in vivo
biodistribution and dosimetry studies --- Evaluate and present all
radiolabeling methods and analytical results in functional meetings
to provide input to progress internal programs --- Develop,
interpret, and maintain appropriate documentation using GxP
guidelines, including radiolabeling protocols, reports and data
analyses --- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
